West Virginia Cemetery Preservation Association Inc has been a very helpful resource in my research.
It has many older cemetery listings in West Virginia, that are often hard to get to due to overgrowth, or are located on private property.

Since these locations may be hard to get to myself, its nice to have this as a resource, it has also prepared me for when I decided
I did want to experience finding the cemetery myself. The cemetery conditions and locations, along with who is buried there have proven to be very helpful.

I used Art's List of Family Connections a bunch in the beginning of my research.
It has a large list of surnames and information in the West Virignia area, and in my particular interest the Mason County area.
